The Weir River Farm Trail Run is Saturday, September 16, 2018 and includes running the trails of Weir River Farm and neighboring Whitney and Thayer Woods. There are 3 race distances to choose from — 9.3 miles, 6.0 miles and 3.4 miles. After the race, stay for the post-race festivities that include beer, giveaways, awards, a farm stand, farm tours and more.
The Weir River Farm Trail Run offers runners a first-class trail race, but is also designed to showcase and raise awareness for the Farm’s property, programs and CSA (community supported agriculture) operations. A portion of the proceeds from will be donated to the farm.
ZēLUS BEER will be served at the Cranberry Trifest. Now in it’s 17th year, Cranberry Trifest offers a terrific weekend of racing that includes a sprint distance triathlon and splash & dash on Saturday, August 25, 2018 and an olympic distance triathlon and aquabike on Sunday, August 26, 2018.
The Cranberry Trifest Olympic race on Sunday, 8/26/18, is home to to the USAT Northeast Regional Championship Festival which includes the Age Group, Club and Aquabike championships. All events take place at the Ted Williams Camp located at 28 Precinct Street in Lakeville, MA.
Cranberry Trifest promises you safe and scenic races and the attention to the little things that add up to an award-winning race experience. You’ll enjoy a festive and friendly atmosphere with a DJ, delicious post-race food, valuable giveaways and more! Additional festivities after Sunday’s olympic include a live band, beer tent, and crowning of the King and Queen of Cranberry (i.e. the fastest male and female that race in both the Cranberry sprint and olympic tris) and the top individuals and teams in the USAT Northeast Age Group, Club and Aquabike Championships.

Details: The DAM Triathlon in it’s 8th year of existence is a USAT Sanctioned sprint distance triathlon at Lake Gardner in Amesbury, MA managed by a USAT Certified Race Director. This sprint distance tri, just 45 minutes North of Boston is the perfect race for any triathlete, beginner to elite alike. ZēLUS BEER will be poured from 9 am.
The Craft Brew Races return to Worcester for the third year! Over 1,200 craft brew lovers ran with us in 2017! Join us for a 5k road race followed by a local craft beer festival and one unforgettable experience. Runners and walkers are welcome to participate in the timed 5k thru Downtown Worcester. The post-race beer festival will be held outside on the historic Worcester Common in front of City Hall.
The 8th Annual Tortoise and the Hare 10k is a fundraiser for the development continuation of the Salisbury Parks and Recreation’s Partridge Brook Park. This event also includes a 1 mile kids fun run and offers a 3 mile walk. The 10K Run is a mix of trail & road, while the walk is contained all within the Salisbury Rail Trail.
This marks the 3rd Annual Andrea Carey Memorial run/walk and the third year that Pam Merkel, a close friend and former colleague of Andrea’s, will be running the Boston Marathon in remembrance of Andrea. 100% of the event proceeds will be allocated to Pam’s Fundraising initiative for The Dana-Farber Cancer Institute.
